Wholesale Energy Prices

Wholesale energy prices have reduced over this week. Gas prices and power prices have reduced significantly over the period. European gas storage levels sit at 38.48% with continued strong withdrawals.

Gas Prices for March 2026 have reduced from 94.10p per therm to 81.14p per therm

Q2 26 – reduced from 78.98p per therm to 74.68p per therm

Q3 26 – reduced from 74.84p per therm to 72.12p per therm

Q4 26 – reduced from 77.85p per therm to 75.56p per therm

Power Prices for March 2026 have reduced from £92.70 per mwh to £81.47 per mwh

Q2 26 –  reduced from £77.01 per mwh to £71.41 per mwh

Q3 26 – reduced from £76.30 per mwh to £72.65 per mwh

Q4 26 – reduced from £79.58 per mwh to £75.31 per mwh
